JOIN TAUWIRA SKI CLUB
1. Applicants should complete
a registration form and forward it to the Secretary.
2. Following receipt of the
registration form, applicants will be required to stay for
one weekend at the Lodge at Iwikau Village and to attend
one official working party, or alternatively, will be required
to attend two official working parties. They must be accompanied
by their nominator on one occasion and their seconder on
the other.
3. Following completion of
the above, applicants will be sent an application form to
complete which shall be signed by the nominee and proposed
by one and seconded by another senior member of the Club,
then forwarded to the Secretary.
4. Election to membership
shall be by two-thirds majority of those present and voting
at a meeting of the Committee and an applicant shall be
deemed a member from the time the Committee passes a resolution
accepting his or her application. The Entrance fee and subscription
must be received by the Committee within 14 days of notice
of acceptance or the application will be cancelled.
5. Non-active members wishing to reactivate their membership
may do so by paying the relevant subscription prior to 1
June for the current year.
6. The Secretary shall send
to each newly-elected member written notice of his election.
