If you have friends who love to ski or board, they might like to consider joining our club.
Tauwira Ski Club is based on Mt Ruapehu and has recently opened its doors to applications from prospective members for a limited time.
It is a small, friendly club with a lodge in Iwikau Village and a chalet in Ohakune. The best things about the club are –
- Sunsets over Mt Taranaki viewed from the lounge with a glass of wine
- Sunrises over the Pinnacles – stunning!
- Comfortable lodge that sleeps 20 in small, family-size bunkrooms
- Lodge pre-season upgrade is already underway
- Parking at the door – fabulous for unloading the gear on those arrivals
- 5 minutes to the Top O’ The Bruce and Lorenz café – great for rugby on Sky!
- Friendly family atmosphere with kids from 4 to 84!
- New chalet in Ohakune offers motel-style accommodation, close to The Junction
- Entrance fee of only $450 payable over 3 years
- Adult member annual subscription is $155; reduced rates for Junior and Family members
- Very reasonable nightly and weekend rates!
Tauwira Ski Club welcomes new members who are keen to contribute to the social life of the club as well as the ongoing development for the benefit of all members and future generations
